The Leo Club with 70 children led by four teachers follows the Motto, “Help the Needy’’. The New office bearers were elected for the Year 2014-15 on 05.07.14. Mrs.LN. Parvathy Viswanathan, the Leo Co- Ordinator, gave away the badges to the newly elected members and Aman M of XI B was elected as the President of the Club. In the month of July we discussed and planned to help the Children in Udavumkarangal and distributed Health Drinks and biscuits for the children and Students spent some time with them. On 18th of July the students visited Egmore Children’s Cancer Hospital and distributed Mineral water bottles and snacks.

Next club thought that they should contribute something for the country also. In order to realize our Prime Minister’s thought, students formed a Human Chain near Chintamani signal to keep our city clean. We all love peace loving country, So to create this awareness they arranged a peace poster contest on 01.11.2014 for the VI- VIII std students and the best presentations were awarded. On the 16th of October they visited Ramachandra Hospital for Future Premier League, to assist the visually impaired and disabled student’s Sports Meet. Though students felt sad for their inability, they were happy that they were on their side for at least a day. Swachh Bharat Campaign was conducted on 29.11.2014 near the school campus and the Lions Club Governor awarded the Best placard exhibit to encourage the Young minds. On the 13th and 14th of December, students helped the visually challenged to attend their interview. Volunteering in “ Employ Ability’’ gave the students a great feeling and they were appreciated by Dr. N. Chandra Sekaran, Vice President of Corporate Affairs for assisting every one. We are the Proud winner of the Par Excellence Award for the year 2013-14 and wish to continue the words of appreciation in the forthcoming year also.
